La
nueva modalidad «expres» para tramitar cuesta 712 dólares, según usuarios
El pasaporte,
necesario documento para viajar fuera del país, se ha transformado en los
últimos años en un dolor de cabeza para los venezolanos. Su
tramitación, además de lo costosa, implica un engorroso y largo proceso que
ahora las nuevas autoridades del Servicio Administrativo de Identificación,
Migración y Extranjería (Saime) quieren subsanar mediante la implementación,
una vez más, de un servicio de expedición “exprés” en 48 horas.
Pero
eso sí, quienes quieren tener en sus manos la libreta que les permite viajar
expeditamente del país deben saber que es algo más caro que el “normal” y solo
tienen una sede del Saime a donde ir a tramitarlo. También, según el ente
estatal, ya no valen los gestores.
El pasaporte
ordinario mediante habilitación, como lo nombró el Saime, se debe tramitar
a través del portal oficial www.saime.gob.ve y
solo se expedirá en la oficina Simón Bolívar, recientemente inaugurada, que se
ubica en la sede central del organismo en El Silencio, Caracas.
El
horario de atención es de lunes a viernes a partir de 8:00 am hasta las 4:00 pm
para la solicitud o retiro de cualquier diligencia.
El organismo no publicó el costo del trámite, pero usuarios que han podido acceder al portal señalan que se ubica en alrededor de 712 dólares o su equivalente en bolívares; mientras que el destinado para los menores de edad será de 662 dólares. El precio se puede ver en bolívares al momento de realizar la solicitud.
El
pasaporte venezolano por medio de la solicitud regular cuesta algo más de 200
dólares valorados a la tasa del BCV. El pasaporte de
adultos tiene validez por 10 años; el de menores de 3 años estará
vigente por la misma cantidad de tiempo; el de niños, niñas y adolescentes de 5
a 18 años dura 5 años.
El
Saime señala que las personas que tramiten pasaporte deben llevar los
siguientes recaudos a la cita:
🛂 Cédula de identidad
🛂 Copia del comprobante
de la cita programada y la hora agendada
🛂 Copia del acta de
nacimiento.

el año 2017, este medio de identificación se ha degradado y perdido fuerza en
el mundo, tanto por su aceptación en muchos países como por su valor
internacional.
Un informe
de la ONG Centro de Divulgación del Conocimiento Económico para la Libertad (Cedice
Libertad) realizado en 2019 reflejaba que en ese año los venezolanos tenían una
percepción negativa hacia su pasaporte, pues consideraban que el hecho de
llevar el escudo nacional en el documento.

bien, cuenta con un relevante alcance para ingresar sin necesidad de visado y
restricciones a innumerables países, el Global
Passport Power Rank lo ubica actualmente en el puesto 87 entre 199
países del mundo, y de 10º en América Latina.

Venezuela, con las consecuencias en el éxodo de población en especial hacia
